Steam vacuum cleaning
Removing stubborn dirt from surfaces and floor coverings using the hot steam jet from the steam vacuum cleaner. Suitable for temperature- and water-resistant surfaces and floor coverings.
Preparatory work
Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling.
Check, equip and ready the machine and all accessories in compliance with the instructions for use.
Put up the warning sign.
Fill the fresh water tank (boiler) of the steam vacuum cleaner with cold water, close it tightly and allow it to heat up.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping or dry vacuum cleaning).
Main task
As needed: Pre-treat the stain or area with a suitable cleaning product (e.g. cover with spray, allow it to take effect and then wet scrub with the scrubbing pad or the scrubbing brush).
Clean the surface using the steam jet in slightly overlapping passes. Move the nozzle slowly back and forth on the surface, applying light pressure. Vacuum away the dissolved dirt and the steam.
As needed: Refill the fresh water tank in accordance with the instructions for use. Important: Allow the machine to fully cool down before refilling it.
Perform a visual check.
Final Steps
Check the power cable for visible damage, clean the cable and roll it up loosely towards the plug.
Remove the warning sign.
Allow the machine to fully cool down.
Descale the fresh water tank (boiler) as needed.
Empty the waste water and the fresh water tank and rinse them with water.
Dispose of any waste.
Clean the cleaning equipment and replace as needed.
