A pioneer with principles

«If an environmentally friendly cleaning product cleans just as well as a conventional product and is also safer for staff, there should be no reason for any building cleaner to use a conventional product.»

With this clear stance, Managing Director Bekim Malici has consistently switched his company's maintenance cleaning to Wetrok's ecologically certified wetco Line in 2021 – taking a bold, forward-looking step. Today, all properties under management – from school buildings to churches – are cleaned exclusively with four cleaning agents and the innovative foam cleaning method.

Sustainability as a strategy for success

Reif Facility Services proves that ecological cleaning and economic success are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary: with well-designed systems, high-quality products and trained employees, sustainability can be profitable.

Those who switch to environmentally friendly cleaning today are not only investing in the environment, but also in the future of their company.

Less is more: four products for spotless cleanliness

Reif Facility Services now cleans with just four products: wetco floor, wetco surf, wetco cristal and wetco san. This reduction is no coincidence, but part of a clear system strategy.

Simplification has led to a massive reduction in application errors, lower costs and increased quality and customer satisfaction. «That's all it takes – provided you clean regularly and use the products correctly», explains Malici.

All wetco Line products are biodegradable, certified with the Nordic Ecolabel and offer the same cleaning performance as conventional products. Reif Facility Services thus refutes the widespread misconception that ecological cleaners are less effective or too expensive.

Foam instead of spray mist: efficient and beneficial to health

The biggest leap in innovation lies in the foam cleaning method used by Reif Facility Services to clean its surfaces and sanitary facilities.

What sounds simple has far-reaching advantages: instead of spray or buckets, foam comes directly from the bottle – measured, safe and without aerosols. Employees no longer have to carry heavy buckets or deal with complex dosages, and at the same time they protect their joints.

The efficiency gains are measurable: lower water consumption, reduced use of chemicals, shorter cleaning times – and all this while maintaining the same high quality.

Focus on people

At Reif Facility Services, sustainability does not end with the foaming method and the right cleaning agents. The company also practises sustainability in its dealings with its employees: through fair wages, safe working conditions and appreciation.

«Our employees determine whether we are successful as a company. If they feel comfortable, they do good work – which satisfies our customers and strengthens the business.», emphasises Malici. This approach pays off: many employees have been with the company for decades – a sign of active partnership and trust.

«The collaboration with Wetrok is no coincidence, but rather a conviction. I have been a fan of Wetrok from the very beginning. No matter what the product is, if it says Wetrok on it, you can rely on quality and durability.»

Training as the key to success

The transition to a new cleaning system can only be successful if the team is on board. That is why Reif Facility Services focuses on continuous training – both internally and externally, in close cooperation with Wetrok's field service.

From basic training to practical refresher courses and support for new employees: regular knowledge refreshers ensure quality and anchor the new approach in the long term.
