Quick&Mop – versatile in use

A cleaning system that inspires

Hygiene is of crucial importance in medical facilities. Pallas Kliniken, one of the leading clinic groups for ophthalmology and aesthetic medicine in German-speaking Switzerland, has been using our products for years – with great success. The innovative Quick&Mop disposable mop in particular has proven to be the perfect solution for daily cleaning requirements in their clinic area. Why? It combines efficiency, hygiene and ergonomics in one system and makes the cleaning staff's work considerably easier.

With 19 locations and over 200,000 patients treated each year, cleanliness is a top priority at the Pallas Clinics. ‘The floors have to be spotlessly clean, but we don't have space for washing machines to wash the mops,’ explains Nicole Oschwald, Head of Facility Management. For a long time, dry disposable mops were used, which first had to be doused with cleaning agent in a wet box – this was cumbersome, time-consuming and not very efficient.

The solution: Quick&Mop from Wetrok

Wetrok recognised the challenge – and delivered the solution. ‘We were allowed to test Quick&Mop and were immediately impressed,’ recalls Nicole Oschwald. The disposable mop is already pre-wetted with the maintenance cleaner ‘Reshine’ and ready for immediate use.

The system has a number of advantages:

  • Better ergonomics: No lugging around chemicals and water.

  • Efficiency: Depending on the floor, dirt and mop size, one mop is sufficient for around 25 m² and also cleans hard-to-reach corners with ease.

  • More hygiene: The mops remain protected from dust in the resealable packaging.

  • Outstanding cleaning performance: Even stubborn stains such as sticky residue from spilt drinks can be removed without any problems. The effectiveness of the system is particularly evident on the delicate white floors of the Zurich shop on Seidengasse.

‘Our cleaning staff not only save time, but also energy,’ says the FM manager. Antonio Graca Pereira and Maria Rojas Vega, who clean in the Zurich and Winterthur branches of Pallas Kliniken, confirm: ‘The work is much faster, more ergonomic and reduces strain on peoples’ backs.’

Versatile in use

Quick&Mop is not only used in medical facilities. ‘Our employees use the mop in offices, waiting areas, reception rooms, kitchens and toilets – wherever quick and efficient cleaning is required,’ explains Ms Oschwald. The system is also ideal for hotels, restaurants, schools and public buildings. ‘Quick&Mop makes work much easier, especially in areas where there is a lot of public traffic.’

The system scores points not only in terms of performance, but also in terms of sustainability. Thanks to the precise dosing of the cleaning solution, there is no longer any overdosing, which reduces the use of chemicals. ‘We did the maths,’ explains Oschwald. ‘Quick&Mop has not only improved work processes, but also reduced costs.’

A clear winner

Whether in a clinic, hotel or care home – Quick&Mop makes cleaning easier wherever hygiene and efficiency are required. When asked whether she would recommend the system to others, Nicole Oschwald answers without hesitation: ‘Definitely! Especially in institutions where people live – such as retirement homes or facilities for people with disabilities – less chemicals on the cleaning trolley is a huge plus.’

Quick&Mop is more than just a cleaning system – it is a smart solution for anyone who ensures cleanliness and hygiene on a daily basis.
