20 years of the foaming method – an idea that changed cleaning

The starting point was this: cleaning agents were often sprayed directly onto the cleaning cloth. This produces a fine spray mist, so-called aerosols, which disperse in the air and can be inhaled. Depending on the product, these aerosols may be harmful to health.

For people who clean day after day, this is no minor issue. So, we set out to find a better solution.

The answer to this challenge was the foaming method.

The bottles are clearly labelled and support safe application. Markings indicate the correct fill levels for water and product, making it easier to prepare the cleaning solution accurately. In addition, important information such as pH value and hazard labelling is already aligned with the respective application concentration. This labelling applies to all Wetrok dispensers – not only to the foam dispensers.

Handling is particularly practical: instead of using a trigger spray head, the bottle is squeezed. The attachment performs several functions at once – it acts as a foam dispenser, as a closure during daily use and at the same time as the opening for refilling.

The design is also consistently tailored to everyday working conditions. The bottle is compact and space-saving, for example compared with classic “club” bottles. In addition, the foaming attachment is significantly slimmer than a conventional trigger spray head, making it less bulky both in use and during storage.

In this way, a simple idea became a practical method for everyday use.

A method that has proven its value

Today, the foaming method has become indispensable in many areas of cleaning. Whether in sanitary facilities, kitchens or when cleaning water-resistant surfaces, foam enables thorough and economical cleaning.

Wetrok recognised the advantages of this method early on and consistently introduced it into professional cleaning. In routine cleaning today, spraying with a trigger is no longer the norm – foaming is.

Smart cloth folding for improved hygiene

The correct use of the cleaning cloth also complements the foaming method. Wetrok recommends a simple yet effective folding technique, which we have also further refined.

By folding the cloth twice, a handy cloth with eight usable sides is created. After each surface, the cloth is folded further so that a clean side is always used. This allows several surfaces to be cleaned hygienically with a single cloth.

This method improves hygiene while at the same time increasing the surface coverage achieved with one cloth.
